When you submit a trophy to Heying Taxidermy and Training for taxidermy services, additional terms may apply to that particular project.

  • Special instructions

  • Applicable tags, permits, or documentation

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information and any documentation required by applicable law.

We reserve the right to decline a project when we believe accepting it would violate applicable laws, regulations, ethical requirements, or our business policies.

10. Customer Trophies

Customers remain responsible for ensuring that trophies submitted to us were lawfully acquired and may legally be possessed, transported, mounted, and returned.

Customers agree to provide accurate information regarding the origin and legal status of their trophies.

We may request documentation when required or appropriate.

While we take reasonable care of trophies entrusted to us, taxidermy involves handling, processing, freezing, thawing, skinning, tanning, mounting, painting, grooming, and other procedures that inherently carry some risk of damage.

We will exercise reasonable care in handling customer property.

11. Completion Times

Estimated completion dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed to in writing.

Taxidermy completion times may be affected by:

  • Workload

  • Tanning times

  • Supply availability

  • Shipping

  • Customer requests

  • Repairs or restoration needs

  • Unexpected issues discovered during the mounting process

  • Other circumstances outside our reasonable control

We will make reasonable efforts to complete projects within the estimated timeframe provided.

12. Customer-Provided Materials

If you provide materials, photographs, reference images, forms, documentation, or other property for use in your project, you represent that you have the right to provide and use those materials.

We are not responsible for problems arising from inaccurate information or unsuitable materials supplied by the customer.

13. Educational Content Ownership

We will not claim ownership of your User Content.

You are responsible for ensuring that your User Content does not violate another person's rights or applicable law.
